Serious concerns about standard of care at St Raphael's

special needs

 The Irish Nurses and Midwives Association is holding an emergency meeting in Celbridge today due to serious concerns about the standard of care at St Raphael’s, a service for people with intellectual disabilities in County Kildare.

Inadequate amounts of nurses on duty, an ‘institutionalised’ level of care and staff without the necessary qualifications are some of the pressing issues up for discussion in Celbridge today.
