TRAFFIC: M50 southbound hit by heavy volumes

Reports are coming in now of heavy congestion on the M50 southbound. AA Roadwatch said a deer is loose near J13 Ballinteer and cautioned motorists to take care in the area. Morrissey Cabs of Johnstown reported that a driver on a fare to Dublin Airport saw long delays in southbound lanes. The AA also reported a car broken down in hard shoulder of M50 northbound between J9 Red Cow and J7 Lucan. Allow extra time for daily Co Kildare bottlenecks like the Bundle of Sticks Roundabout and the Sallins Road.
