A truck that had shed its load has been cleared from the off-ramp on the
M50southbound onto the N7 Naas Rd outbound at J9 Red Cow. Delays have since eased on approach. Traffic is heavy around Newbridge and around the M7 business park heading into Naas according to Dublin coaches who report traffic moving well elsewhere in Kildare and into Dublin. Most of their service are running on time. Naas Garda station reports that a speed van at Junction 8 Johnstown is leading to delays. Motorists are reporting to be driving 80km per hour in a 120 km zone. There are no major delays to report in Dublin City Centre. A truck is causing delays near the Red Cow. Traffic is slow from Fairhouse to Lucan and is slow northbound from J12 Firhouse to J7 Lucan. Southbound traffic is slow from the M50/ M11 merge to J5 Bray North on the M11. Traffic is running smoothly in County Kildare according to Tully Cabs. Although traffic is slow at the Station Road Kildare. Works are due to start at Liso na Ri on Monday 7th September and are expected to be completed by Friday 11th Septembe, weather permitting. Traffic management will be in place from 8am to 6pm daily. Parking restrictions will apply during the works. Emergency access will be maintained as far as practically possible.
