Traffic Update: Volumes starting to build with school runs

The northbound lanes of the M7 are quite slow as volumes peak but there are no reports of any incidents on the route. An earlier breakdown on M50 between Junction 2 and Junction 3 affected northbound traffic for a while but delays have eased. School runs are expected to impact on flows around Naas, Newbridge, Sallins and Clane between now and 9am. Naas town is currently moving smoothly but the Monread Road is starting to clog up, according to Eights Taxis.
