  There are no major problems for traffic in Dublin's City Centre. Traffic on the M50 is moving well both ways. Traffic on the M50 is moving well both ways. The Self Build and Improve Your Home Show takes place at  Citywest Hotel from today until Sunday. The event runs each day from 10am to 6pm. Citywest Hotel is located just off the N7 Naas Rd via J3a. Expect delays in the area before and after the event. The Luas Red Line brings you towards the venue, with the Saggart stop leaving you within walking distance. For those taking the Tallaght tram, be sure to switch over at the Belgard stop onto a tram marked Saggart. Cannonball Ireland takes place throughout the country from today until Sunday. 180 super cars are expected to depart from the  Point Village in Dublin's Docklands at 11:30am on Fri. From there they will travel onto the N4 northbound via the M50 and make their way to Carrick-On-Shannon, arriving at appox. 1:15pm. They will depart then for Sligo at 4:30pm and arrive in the town at approx. 6pm. Meanwhile buses and trains to and from Kildare are running according to schedule. Traffic is running freely in Kildare. The M50 northbound will be closed for works between J7 Lucan and J6 Blanchardstown from 10p.m. tonight until 6a.m. tomorrow ( Saturday) morning.Diversions will be in place via the J6. The on-ramp to the M50 northbound at J15 Kilternan will be closed for works until 6a.m. today. Traffic will be diverted via J16 Cherrywood. There will be lane restrictions in place for works on the M50 southbound from J5 Finglas to J6 Blanchardstown until 6a.m. today and again from 10p.m. tonight until 6a.m. tomorrow (Saturday). Later today the city and M50 will be busy today with a number of events including The Dublin Coffee and Tea Festival, Self- Build and Improve Your Home at City West along with CanonBall Ireland, departing the city today at 11a.m.Meanwhile today conferrings take place at NUI Maynooth.
