County Kildare traffic very heavy

  The Monread Road in Naas  is extremely busy. Roads to Nicholastown are closed from today until Sunday to facilitate road resurfacing works. The road will be closed from 9:30am – 5pm. A diversion route will be in operation. The L-2033 from Milemill cross roads to Gilltown cross roads will be temporarily closed on Friday 11th and Monday 14th September to facilitate road resurfacing works. The road will be closed from 9:30am – 5pm   In county Kildare traffic is steadily building at Celbridge and is bumper to bumper. Newhall in Naas is getting very busy. Traffic at Sallins and the Curragh Roundabout is very heavy.  Vehicles are moving very slowly at Kilcock. Traffic at Kilcock is very slow moving. Roads to Nicholastown are closed from today until Sunday to facilitate road resurfacing works. The road will be closed from 9:30am – 5pm. The road will be closed from 9:30am – 5pm Traffic on the M50 southbound is busy from J7 Lucan to J10 Ballymount. Northbound is moving well at this stage.
