Morning weather update: The rain has subsided and we should have a brighter day
12 Sept 2015
After the torrential downfall of rain throughout yesterday evening and into the early hours of this morning, we should have a more settled spell of weather today. Kildare will get some spells of sunshine during the early stages of the morning, while cloud cover will grow heavier as the afternoon goes on. Patches of sunshine will still break out in some areas. Temperatures will remain relatively mild for this time of year, with highs of 15-16 degrees around mid afternoon and lowest temperatures falling to around 9 degrees overnight. The north of the country will experience the worst of the weather today, with plenty of scattered showers forecast for there. Last night's rain is still causing treacherous driving conditions on our roads, so if you are on and about please take care.
