Co Kildare hotels are cashing in on the All Ireland Football Final by offering better value to fans heading to Croke Park this Sunday. Supporters travelling to Dublin for the annual GAA showpiece have opted to book rooms for the weekend in locations near the capital such as in Naas. Thousands of fans will be travelling from Co Kerry for the clash with Dublin in the senior final and with Tipperary in the minor decider. The Maudlins House Hotel said lucky ticket holders heading to GAA HQ have opted to stay there because it's so close to the M7 and Dublin. Duty Manager Fergus Smith said: "The Dublin hotels are usually booked out or have increased their prices for All Ireland Final weekend. "Because of our location, we always get a boost from people staying here or stopping off the M7 for food on the way. " He added: "We've even had teams visit or stay here in the past such as the Kerry Ladies Football team and the Waterford minor hurlers."
