Traffic update: Broken down truck on the M50 causing massive delays
17 Sept 2015
A broken down truck is continuing to cause huge delays on the M50 southbound with traffic backlogged from J9 Red Cow all the way back to J4 Ballymun. Travel time between the two areas is about 45 minutes. The Longmile Road outbound is very congested at the moment and traffic is moving quite slowly through that area. There are delays on the M50 Northbound between J12 Firhouse and J9 Red Cow. The result of all the congested traffic on the M50 is that the M7 is particularly quiet so far this evening. Naas and Newbridge town centres remain moderately busy and traffic on approach to the Bundle of Sticks roundabout from Naas town centre is very heavy. The Naas ringroad is moving quite well so far this evening and there are no major delays going through Sallins to report.
