Naas parking rules being reviewed by Chamber

Naas town
Business leaders in Naas want to change parking regulations to draw more shoppers into the town. North Kildare Chamber will be bringing detailed proposals on the issue to local officials in coming weeks. Earlier this week a motion by Cllr Seamie Moore to enlarge the Fairgreen public car park to 100 spaces was defeated at the area's Municipal District meeting. But Chamber director Allan Shine told KildareNow that the business group is currently carrying out a full review of how changes in parking regulations can boost trade. Meanwhile the Chamber's Budget Briefing will take place at Palmerstown House on October 14.
