All routes from Co Kildare into the M50 are clear now but there is extreme congestion in city routes. Southbound traffic is extremely heavy on the M1 from J2 Dublin Airport to the Swords Rd as far as Dorset Street. This congestion is caused by inbound traffic switching from the Port Tunnel route which remains shut down after a lorry fire at 7am. A man has been taken to hospital as a precaution. Other busy roads are the R139 into Baldoyle and the R124 into Kilbarrack. Both north and southbound bores remain closed due to a lorry fire.
