The Council is getting down with the kids for National Play Day tomorrow. The local authority will again throw open the doors of its Aras Chill Dara HQ in Naas to kids. The line-up of free activities will include Bouncy Castles, Fairy Door Work Shop and Recycling Workshop, Archaeological Excavations, Sand Sculpture Workshop Storytelling, Magic Shows, Face Painting and a Reptile village. The event will run from 12 noon to 5pm. A Council spokeswoman said: "You can make a nature impression in clay, snow globes or make puppets and animals from recycled materials and we'll have a monster nature doodle. "You can even experience what it is like to be an archaeologist or to stay inside a WWI trench!"
