Drive to get people registered to vote in Kildare

Kildare County Council is urging people to check that they are registered to vote - such as for the forthcoming general election expected next year. There were just under 140,000 voters in Kildare when the register last opened to additions and amendments in advance of referenda in May. People concerned about their status as voters can log onto www.checktheregister dot ie Those who are not on the register can apply to Kildar County Council for inclusion.
