Collision on M50

There is a collision northbound between J5 Finglas and J4 Ballymun partially blocking the middle and right lane. Emergency services are at the scene and traffic is slow from J6 Blanchardstown. As a result, the on-ramp at J6 is quite busy now. The entire county is very busy with traffic moving steadily. A collision has occurred on the M50. Inbound on the Naas Rd, traffic is busy but moving from Green Isle to the Red Cow Interchange. Traffic is busy on the M7 and motorists are moving very slowly. It's busy on the M1 southbound approaching J2 Dublin Airport. Further along then, there's a motorcycle broken down in the hard shoulder. It's not affecting traffic but care is advised. The M50 southbound is already busy from J4 Ballymun past J10 Ballymount. Northbound is moving well at the moment. Traffic is starting to build steadily in Kilcock, Leixlip and Athy. The Sallins Rd is now totally backed up. Newbridge , Naas and Kilcullen are also very congested. Communters should note that tomorrow one lane of the Millennium Link Road will be temporarily closed from 10pm tonight until midnight tomorrow. Traffic from the Sallins Road Roundabout entering onto the Millennium Link Road will be diverted via Osberstown, Halverstown and Caragh Road. This temporary road closure is to facilitate essential road works. A road resurfacing project is continuing today between Ballyshannon Cross Roads and Hacklow, is being resurfacing. Detours via Calverstown village are in effect. The works are scheduled to be completed today.     Commuters can rest assured that all trains and buses are running according to schedule this morning, following delays of 20 minutes on the Newbridge and Sallins line yesterday evening because of a truck crashing into the railway bridge near Heuston. One lane of the Millennium Link Road will be temporarily closed from 10pm tonight until midnight tomorrow. Traffic from the Sallins Road Roundabout entering onto the Millennium Link Road will be diverted via Osberstown, Halverstown and Caragh Road. This temporary road closure is to facilitate essential road works. Meanwhile traffic is moving well in Dublin City Centre. There are no major delays to report for traffic in either direction on the M50.
The right lane of the M50 northbound between J7 Lucan and J6 Blanchardstown will be closed from 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow. Also the right lane of the M50 southbound between J5 Finglas and J6 Blanchardstown will be closed from 10pm tonight until 6am tomorrow. The middle lane of the M50 southbound between J16 Cherrywood and J17 M11 will be closed from 10pm until 6am tomorrow.
