Sheep are a 'baa-d' nuisance for kids using GAA club - councillor

Roaming sheep are a danger to kids using a Newbridge GAA club, a councillor claimed. Councillor Willie Crowley wants urgent funding to install a sheep grid at the Moorefield GAA entrance at Pollardstown. He said: "The continued encroachment by errant sheep is causing serious health and safety issues to the many youngsters who are using the club." Cllr Crowley will be raising the issue at the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting in Aras Chill Dara on Friday.
