Total of 6 road closures in Kildare for weary motorists

Current Road closures in Co Kildare • Temporary Road Closure Millennium Link Road, Naas: One lane of the Millennium Link Road will be temporarily closed from: 10pm Wednesday 23rd September to 11.59pm on Thursday 24th September 2015. Traffic from the Sallins Road Roundabout entering onto the Millennium Link Road will be diverted via Osberstown, Halverstown and Caragh Road. This temporary road closure is to facilitate essential road works. • Road surfacing works are to be carried out on R418 between Fontstown and Kilrush. Works have commenced and are due to be completed by Thursday 24th September.Detours will be in operation and a Stop/Go traffic management operation will be in place. Delays to be expected. • A one way system is in place in Naas on the Kilcullen Rd (R448) southbound at Piper's Hill until December. Traffic wishing to access Naas from the Kilcullen direction will need to divert at Mylerstown Cross, drive towards Punchestown and then towards Naas on the Ballymore Eustace Rd (R411). Road works between Staplestown Cross and Prosperous. These works will be taking place on the above stretch of road (bog road) from
8am to 7pm, starting Wednesday 23rd September to Wednesday 30th September 2015. The road will be closed to all through traffic for the duration of the works and traffic will be diverted via Staplestown/Ballynafagh. Local access will be maintained at all times. • Road Works between Ballyshannon and Hacklow: Road surfacing works are to be carried out on R418 between Ballyshannon Cross Roads and Hacklow. Works have commenced and are due to be completed by Wednesday 23rd September. Detours via Calverstown village will be in operation. Delays to be expected. • Road Works on L5072 in Ballynafagh/Garvoge: Road works on L5072 in Ballynafagh/Garvoge Please note that road works will be taking place on the above road until Wednesday 23rd September from 8am to 7pm daily. The road will be closed to all through traffic for the duration of the works and a diversion will be in place.
