N4 Sligo/ Dublin Rd eastbound from J7 Maynooth past J3 Lucan, where there are no further reports of a multi-vehicle collision. There's a truck broken down on
Botanic Rd inbound before Hart's Corner. It's in the bus lane and traffic can get by. The
M50 southbound is already quite busy from J4 Ballymun past J12 Firhouse. Northbound is moving well at this stage of the morning. Traffic is steadily building at Sallins, is entirely blocked up at Newbridge and is very heavy in Johnstown and Kill. Road surfacing works are underway on R418 between Fontstown and Kilrush. A one way system is in place in Naas on the Kilcullen Rd (R448) southbound at Piper's Hill until December. Traffic wishing to access Naas from the Kilcullen direction will need to divert at Mylerstown Cross, drive towards Punchestown and then towards Naas on the Ballymore Eustace Rd (R411). Roadworks are taking place on the Naas/ Kilcullen Rd at Piper’s Hill until December Road works between Staplestown Cross and Prosperous. These works will be taking place on the above stretch of road (bog road) from 8am to 7pm, starting Wednesday 23rd September to Wednesday 30th September 2015. The road will be closed to all through traffic for the duration of the works and traffic will be diverted via Sta Kildare County Council said that one lane of the Millennium Link Road will be temporarily shut from 10pm until just before midnight today (Thursday) for "essential road works".
