Truck broken down on M50 - and road closures in Kildare

There is a truck broken down on the M50 southbound between J12 Firhouse and J13 Ballinteer. It's partially blocking the left lane so take extreme care on approach. There is a two-car collision on Arran Quay blocking the bus lane. Care is needed. Here are some road closures to be aware of in Kildare • Road works on L1017 in Derryvarrogue/Derrycrib: Please note that road works are due to commence on Tuesday 29th September and continue until Thursday 1st October, from 8am to 7pm daily, on the above road. It will be necessary to close the road between the junction at Brady Meats/Mucklon and Ballagh Crossroads, to all through traffic, for the duration of the works. • Road Resurfacing Works on R403 Lucan Road Celbridge: Road resurfacing works will take place on the R403 Lucan Road Celbridge on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th September from its junction with the Liffey Bridge to Applegreen Service Station. Supervalu will be open for business as usual and bus routes will not be effected. There will be STOP/GO in operation. • Road works at Staplestown Crossroads, Donadea: works are due to commence on Thursday 1st october and continue until Friday 2nd, from 8am to 7pm daily, at this location. It will be necessary to close the road between the Range Crossroads and Staplestown Crossroads for the duration of the works. Detour via Donadea/Mountarmstron
