Traffic: No reported incidents on Co Kildare routes

Traffic is starting to build on the M7 as early bird commuters try to escape the Naas/Newbridge bottleneck. No major incidents are reported but motorists are advised to get into their cars earlier to avoid peak volumes. In Co Kilkenny, the M9 will close for works northbound between Junction 8 and Junction 9 from 9am to 6pm today. In Co Kildare, be awaye of road works on L1017 in Derryvarrogue/Derrycrib from 8am to 7pm today until Thursday. The road between the junction at Brady Meats/Mucklon and Ballagh Crossroads will be closed to all through traffic, for the duration of the works. Road resurfacing works will take place today on the R403 Lucan Road Celbridge from its junction with the Liffey Bridge to Applegreen Service Station. Supervalu will be open for business as usual and bus routes will not be effected. There will be STOP/GO in operation. Motorists are advised to use the Shinkeen Road/Hazelhatch Road.
