Emergency meeting in Kilcullen to tackle rising crime

An emergency meeting with  Gardai and Kilcullen residents has been held in a bid to tackle increasing crime in the area. Kilcullen Gardai are now warning that burglaries are on the rise.  This meeting comes at a time when Kilcullen Pitch and Putt Club along with the Cross and Passion Secondary School were targeted by burglars,between midnight Thursday and the early hours of Saturday morning. There was also an attempted break-in to a home at Moanbane, Kilcullen, over the weekend. The owners were in the house at the time.
