Money for sick children at Jack & Jill now unavailable due to company liquidation
8 Oct 2015
A leading Co Kildare charity will not get its anticipated funds reaped from the latest Naas 10 K because Precision Timing Ltd has gone into liquidation. The Naas 10k, organised last month, by Brendan's Running Club, raised in excess of €5,000 for local charity Jack&Jill. The charity for sick children now will only get €1,000, instead of €5,000 as expected. Speaking to Kildare Now, Brendan Loughlin, of the running club, explained that on the day of the Naas 10K, Precision Timing Ltd. had provided chips for runners to time the race and was responsible for online registration. Fortunately, due to strong sponsorship, Brendan's Running Club will be able to pay bills for the event, and can provide €1,000 towards Jack & Jill. However, Precision Timing Ltd. still has over €4,000, due for Jack &Jill.
