Did your local club get some of the €30,000 doled out in Government grants

A total of 20 environmental projects in Co Kildare have been granted a total of €30,000 in funding. The money is allocated under the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund which promotes sustainable development by helping small local groups. The Co Kildare projects include the following: Kilcullen Community Action Naas Tidy Towns Newbridge Family Resource Centre Pipers Hill College Rathangan Tidy Towns Sallins Tidy Towns Ardclough Community Council Birdwatch Ireland Kildare branch Carbury Tidy Towns Gorteen Wildlife Conservation Trust
