Man stole posh dog in Kildare Village outlet - court hears

A man stole a Chihuahua dog at the Kildare Village outlet off the M7. Patrick Keenan (29) appeared at Naas District Court today charged with handling the stolen animal at the shopping complex on June 6 last. Chihuahua dogs, which are named after the state of Chihuahua in Mexico,  are valuable animals and are usually pampered by their wealthy owners. Keenan, of Clancy Park in Ennis, Co Clare was remanded on continuing bail to appear in court again on November 5.
