Traffic update: Breakdown on the Longmile Road causing delays
14 Oct 2015
Traffic is slowly starting to build in many quarters now as rush hour comes upon us. A breakdown outbound on the Longmile road is causing delays in that area, blocking the right lane. Traffic can use the bus lane to get by, but there are delays on approach. The M50 northbound is very slow from J12 Firhouse all the the way past J9 Red Cow. It is moving well going southbound however. It's also busy around Naas, as traffic on approach to the Sallins roundabout is well backed-up in all directions and it is very slow through there. It also remains very congested in the town centre, while there are delays on approach to the Bundle of Sticks roundabout going outbound from the town centre. The M7 remains quiet so far this evening, but that should build once some of the M50 traffic frees up and gets onto that particular section of road. There are no delays to report in Newbridge, just a slight build up of traffic in the town centre.
