Meeting ongoing on providing temporary accommodation to Carrickmines survivors

A meeting is continuing between residents on the Glenamuck Road in South County Dublin and officials from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown council. Residents have been blocking survivors of the Carrickmines fire from temporary accommodation there. The residents on Rockville Drive say the site is unsuitable for use as a temporary accommodation, despite assurances from the Council that they will close it in six months time.
