Traffic update: Quiet so far, but a busy evening expected

Commuter routes to and from the county are relatively quiet so far this evening, but Thursday always proves to be a busy day on the roads, so expect that to change. The M50 is moving well in both directions as of yet, while the major routes that serve Kildare like the Longmile Road, Newlands Cross and the M7 all remain quiet. Traffic in Naas is slowly starting to build as the evening goes on, with the main street starting to get particularly busy now. There's also a good build up of traffic in Newbridge at the moment, but that is restricted to just the main street and there are no major delays reported from there.
