Cian O'Neill and his charges now know who they will face in next year's Leinster Championship quarter-final

The draw for the 2016 Leinster Senior Football Championship has been made and Kildare will face a quarter-final battle against Wexford, who received a bye straight into the quarter final stage. On Kildare's side of the draw the other quarter-final sees Westmeath play the winners of Longford and Offaly, which gives new manager Cian O'Neill a favourable draw in his first season in charge of the Lilywhites. It also means that Kildare have been kept away from a dreaded tie with Leinster kingpins Dublin, and the only way the two sides can meet would be in a Leinster final.
