Parents urged to come to free talks on cyberbullying and self-harming

Kildare County Library Service has organised a series of talks for parents in partnership with the HSE Primary Care Psychology Team and Mental Health Ireland. Social Networking & Cyberbullying Training will take place in Kildare Town Library on Thursday, November 5 at 7pm. Newbridge Library will host the talk: Self-harming Behaviours in Young People on Tuesday, November 10 at 7pm. Leixlip Library will host the same talk on Thursday, November 26 at 7pm. Other events include Helping Children to be Resilient and Develop Skills to Cope with the Challenges of Life at Celbridge Library: Thursday 12th November 7pm. 'Yuck I’m NOT eating that! - Toddler and Childhood Nutritional Challenges' is in Athy Library on Tuesday, November 24th at 7pm. Booking is essential so please contact your local libraries.
