Traffic update: Crash on the M9 being tended to by emergency services
21 Oct 2015
A crash on the M9 northbound at J4 Castledermot has brought traffic to almost a complete halt on that stretch of road. Emergency services are at the scene right now. It is beginning to get busy in many places around Kildare right now. The M7 just outside of Naas is moving slowly at the moment, while routes into the town are also quite hectic. It's very slow outbound from the town centre approaching the Newbridge roundabout, while the Millennium Park road is also well blocked up on approach to the Sallins roundabout. It remains busy in Newbridge, with traffic going into the town from the Naas direction moving quite slowly at the moment. The M50 is slow moving northbound between J11 Knocklyon and J9 Red Cow following an earlier accident that happened near J15 Carrickmines. The road there was closed for some time, but has reopened again in the last few minutes. Traffic outbound from Dublin to Kildare is moving slowly from the Longmile road straight through to Newlands Cross.
