Naas General Hospital to get extra nurses to cope with patient numbers

Naas General Hospital is currently hiring five extra nurses to cope with overcrowding in its Emergency Department, it has emerged. The Dublin MIdlands Hospital Group confirmed the recruitment process has begun for the permanent positions. The latest extra staff are in addition to five other Emergency Department nurses who have begun employment in recent weeks. Cllr Thomas Redmond of Sinn Fein welcomed the news which was revealed at a meeting of the Regional Health Forum for Dublin Mid-Leinster this week.
