Naas business owners are turning Hogwarts(YES, that Hogwarts) into an apartment complex
25 Oct 2015
The place where some of the most famous movie scenes of the last 20 years were set is due to become a luxury apartment and housing complex in the near future. Brian and Luke Comer, who own the Palmerstown House in Naas, are converting the gothic Victorian property into 380 luxury apartments and houses. Royal Connaught Park in Hertfordshire, Britain, was the setting for many scenes from the iconic Harry Potter films and is home to the great big dining hall from the movies. That dining hall will be kept the same, and residents will have exclusive access to it. The property is a former university and the clock tower was Dumbledore's office for the fifth Harry Potter movie, the Order of the Phoenix. 28 homes will be sold in the first phase of sales, with prices between £649,000 and £2.8 million. 24-hour gated security is provided on site to ensure that movie fans don't cause any hassle to the residents.
