Man seriously injured following a stabbing at a bonfire last night

A man is recovering in hospital after he received serious injuries when he was stabbed while in attendance at a bonfire in Blanchardstown last night. The incident happened in the Drumheath area of Blancardstown where a number of locals had gathered around to mark Halloween night. The man was rushed to James Connolly Hospital where his condition is being described as critical. There have been no arrests made as of yet, but gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident and the area of the bonfire has been closed off for technical examination.
