Ray D'Arcy nets windfall in his local parish lotto in Kildare Town

RTE star Ray D'Arcy has won a cash prize in his local parish lotto in his native Kildare Town. The broadcaster, who has a radio and TV show, won the subscribers' draw after his name was pulled out last week. It's not known at this stage how much the dad-of-two (51) scooped in the windfall. D'Arcy good fortune was mentioned in the current edition of the St Brigid's Parish newsletter. Tickets for the Kildare Parish Co-op Lotto cost €2 and are on sale in various outlets including the Parish Centre. Next week's jackpot is €10,000.
