Weather update: Umbrellas and jackets at the ready, it's going to be wet
8 Nov 2015
It has been another miserable start to the morning and things are not going to improve much throughout the day either. The rain has spread from the south of the country up to Leinster and it will continue to fall quite heavily all day and won't begin to clear until later in the evening. Strong southerly winds will continue to make outdoor conditions very poor during the day, while the evening time will see westerly winds coming through to clear out the band of rain. It will be a cool day too, with highest temperatures somewhere between 11 and 13 degrees. After the showers clear for a period tonight there will be another band of rainfall coming in from the west in the late hours of tonight and that will linger for most of the day tomorrow. Lowest temperatures of around 6-8 degrees tonight.
