Traffic update: 40 minute travel times from Maynooth to M50
Reporter:
Patrick Ward
09 Nov 2015 8:20 AM
Traffic on the main Kildare roads is still moving at a snail's pace at the moment, with a trio of earlier collisions causing the delays. Two collisions within a few miles of each other on the M7 either side of J10 Naas northbound has left traffic at a standstill for the past hour and a half. Delays begin at J12 Newbridge and continue up as far as J9 Naas north. There are similar problems on the M4 as delays start between J8 Kilcock and J7 Maynooth following an earlier accident near Palmerstown on the N4. Travel time from Maynooth to the M50 is supposedly around 40 minutes. The M50 southbound is relatively busy at the moment, but nothing too major as traffic continues to move, albeit slowly.
