Traffic update: Massive delays approaching Sallins roundabout from all directions
Reporter:
Patrick Ward
09 Nov 2015 9:06 AM
An earlier accident in Sallins has left traffic at a standstill in the surrounding areas as people struggle to get to work. Queues coming into Sallins begin at the turn-off for Prosperous, while there is a huge bank of traffic stretching from the roundabout all the way back to the Johnstown roundabout. Traffic on the Millenium Park Link road is also heavily backed up, stretching back as far as the third roundabout. Traffic on the M7 is still being very badly held up following a crash near J10 Naas earlier. Delays begin almost as far back as Kildare town and continue just past the interchange with the M9. The M4 continues to experience long delays also following an earlier accident. Newbridge and Naas town centres are extremely congested as the various crashes have had a knock-on effect on traffic there.
