Traffic: Are you aware of local road works in your area this morning?

Traffic is moving freely with no major incidents reported on the M7, M4 or M50 at this point. A crash on the M7 southbound between the Kildare and Monasterevin exits was cleared last night. Kildare Co Council will be carrying out works at Painstown near Kill from 8am today. The sightline and drainage improvement works will be taking place at the Alasty Cul de Sac and the L2010 between 8am and 6pm over the next three weeks. Traffic management will be in place during the works and delays can be expected. Road works are continuing on Main Street, Prosperous from 8am to 6pm from Anne Street to the Catholic Church. There are also resurfacing works in Miltown village and there may be a stop-go system in place. Ongoing works continue on the Straffan Road in Maynooth each day from 8am to 6pm while roadworks are are taking place on the Naas/ Kilcullen Rd at Piper’s Hill until December.
