Two Co Kildare women targeted by thieves while walking in Newbridge

Two Co Kildare women were left traumatised by late night thefts over the past week, the latest last night. Last night a woman in her late twenties was threatened with a metal bar near Station Road in Newbridge at about 10p.m. Her handbag was stolen, with all its contents including credit cards and cash. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, last week, on November 2, a woman in Newbridge was targeted by a thief close to Sarsfields GAA Club. The woman was walking at Byrne's Cross at about 9.10p.m. A man grabbed her handbag and fled.
