Irish man in 'stable condition' after being injured in Paris attacks

An Irish man that was injured in the terror attacks on Paris on Friday night is in a stable condition in hospital it has been revealed. The man was the only Irish person that needed treatment for injuries suffered during the attacks, but he is now on the mend in hospital. The man, who was holidaying in Paris for the weekend, received gunshot wounds during the attack on the Bataclan music venue in which around 100 people were killed. Minister for Foreign Affairs Charlie Flanagan said that he is recuperating in hospital at the moment. The Irish embassy in Paris confirmed that the man had to undergo surgery, but it proved successful. The man's identity has not yet been released.
