Athy opens book of condolences for Paris attacks

Athy, which is twinned with a French town, has opened a book of condolences for the Paris terrorist atrocities. A total of 129 people died in the attacks on bars, restaurants, a concert hall and the Stade de France on Friday night. The chairman of the Athy Municipal District, Cllr Mark Wall today referred to the town's links with Grand Villiers as he announced the opening a book of condolence at the Athy Municipal District Offices in Rathstewart. The book is available for signing during normal office hours.
