Minister expected to discuss Isis security threat at Naas army conference

Defence Minister Simon Coveney is expected to talk about the recent terrorist attacks in Paris and any potential security risks to Ireland during a keynote speech in Naas this evening. Members of the RACO group, which are senior officers in the Defence Forces, are gathering in Killashee House Hotel since yesterday for a three day conference. Other speakers include RACO President Commandant Ian Harrington, RACO Gen Sec Commandant Earnan Naughton and Defence Forces Chief of Staff, Admiral Mark Mellett.
