Weather update: A Sunday by the fire is on the cards with a chilly day predicted again

Cold weather frost
The cold snap of weather we've been experiencing for the past number of days is going to continue again today with things set to get even colder again. It will be dry all day around Leinster, except for the very rare isolated shower, and there will be bright spells of sunshine breaking through from time to time. It will remain very cold again however, with highest temperatures of around 4-6 degrees predicted. Winds will be light today however. This evening will see a sharp drop in temperature after dark as values plummet towards freezing. It's predicted to be just 1 degree by 9pm tonight, while temperatures will drop to as low as -1 in some areas during the night.
