Newbridge man in hit and run gets four months sentence

A Newbridge man involved in a hit and run on the Athgarvan Road got a four months suspended sentence at Naas District Court. Patrick Glazak, The Park, College Farm, Newbridge, was charged with driving while disqualified, not having a driving licence and not having insurance along with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, on July 20, 2014,at Athgarvan Road, Newbridge. At court, Glazak handed over €3,300 compensation to the injured party. Judge Desmond Zaidan ordered that Glazak was banned from driving for two years, for driving while disqualified.  He was convicted and fined €250 for not having a driving licence. He received a four months suspended sentence for not having insurance and failing to remain at the scene.
