Man seriously injured after falling from scaffolding in Dublin city centre

A man has been taken to St James' Hospital after he was seriously injured when he fell from scaffolding at a work site in Dublin city centre earlier this afternoon. The man fell from a height of around 15-20 feet from scaffolding that was erected on a street just off Grafton street. Dublin Fire Brigade and respnded to the call and the man was stabilized at the scene before emergency services were able to remove him to St James' Hospital for further treatment. The street was closed off for a period of time as the emergency services tended to the injured man. Gardai are currently investigating the site following the accident.
