Still windy out there today but mostly dry until the afternoon

Storm Desmond has passed over the country but watch out for some spot flooding in places. A Yellow Weather Alert warning is in place for Leinster from 6am to 7pm. Southeast to south winds of mean speeds 50 to 60 km/h will gust occasionally to between 85 and 95 km/h. It will be dry but windy and mild this morning. Rain will begin falling today from 3pm onwards until about 10pm tonight. Highs of 12 to 14 Celsius in strong and gusty southerly winds.
