A Kildare house turned out to be the most expensive property in the country in 2015 after the property fetched an eye-watering amount on the market. Castlemartin House in Kilcullen, which is the former house of Sir Anthony O'Reilly, was sold for a whopping €26.5 million in February of last year and it is comfortably the highest one-off property sold in the Irish market last year.
