Commuters beware: A truck accident has blocked lanes of traffic on the N7
Reporter:

An accident involving a truck on the N7 Outbound has left traffic at a standstill before the evening commuter rush begins. The incident occurred inside the past 30 minutes near the Red Cow Hotel and just after the M50 Interchange, and traffic is now backed up down as far as the M50 as a result. It is unclear as to whether or not it is the left lane or the right lane that is blocked, but traffic has been reduced to two lanes at a maximum following the accident. Emergency services have arrived at the scene, but it is likely that these delays will continue long into the evening as it combines with the added traffic due to the Dublin bus strike. https://twitter.com/aaroadwatch/status/776790369044496384 Motorists looking to travel to Kildare are advised to use the N4 if they are coming from the north side of Dublin, while people on the southside of the M50 can use the Blessington Road to avoid the N7.
