The annual Mill Harvest Festival began last weekend and continues this weekend with the Harvest Festival Family Day and Haven Hire Duck Race. Activities run around the Mill Centre on Sunday from 12-5pm. A great day’s entertainment is promised with Abbey Bouncing Castle Village, face painting, vintage car display, archery display, martial arts display, duck races, mouse roulette, food stands, harvest kitchen, open day in gym, fun stands, creative ceramics, colouring corner and lots more! Celbridge Mill Community Centre provides a vital forum and event centre for voluntary, business and social activities. Don’t forget there’s women’s weight training sessions now available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings with the community gym now available seven days a week. Salsa, Latino and Line Dancing every Tuesday night. Coming soon is Irish dancing, DDMIX Fitness, Rugby Tots and junior badminton coaching, also mens and dadies open basketball. The Centre also provides a wonderful and free creche open Monday- Friday from 9.30-12.30pm Watch out for upcoming events such as Children’s Halloween Fancy Dress Disco on Monday 31 October at 2pm. Charges for children are €4 and adults go free with Christmas plans already well underway!
