By Kim O'Leary Irish singer-songwriter Cathy Davey is set to perform at the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge tonight following the release of her new album. The performance is scheduled to take place from 8pm with tickets priced at €20 per person. There are plenty of tickets still available which can be booked online at riverbank.ie. The Riverbank Arts Centre is also offering two tickets as well as a signed copy of the album and a post-show meet and greet with Cathy for those who comment and tag themselves and a friend on their Facebook or Twitter page. Only one winner will be chosen from the Facebook or Twitter page. Cathy Davey returns to the music business with her song "The Pattern", which is from her new album "New Forest". "The Pattern" is a catchy, lively tune with faint echoes of Goldfrapp and Roisin Murphy thrown into the mix. Cathy can play a wide variety of instruments including her faithful guitar and she also records and produces much of her own music. Last month Cathy gave a special performance to help launch the 12-year-old Electric Picnic's newest space Hazelwood. She co-founded the charity My Lovely Horse Rescue, and she has also been busy writing for television and film.
