Naas Court hears woman is threatened with acid in her face by former partner

A woman whose partner has threatened to throw acid in her face appealed for a protection order at Naas Family Law Court today. The women, who has children with the accused, outlined to Naas Court how she separated with her partner 10 -years-ago and that they no-longer live together. She told the court how her ex-partner is threatening to throw acid in her face. The court heard accusations that her former partner is now slashing the tyres in her car. She also told the court that her former partner is coming around and 'terrorising' her eldest son. She told Judge Desmond Zaidan how she has a protection order in place for the past 10 years. The woman said: "Normally he hit us and threaten us, now he is putting the air out of the tyres." Judge Zaidan ordered that an interim protection order is imposed and that a full hearing is held on April 10, next.
